Nov 13, 2008 - Tequila, Jalisco to Bucerias, Nayarit

Once again we had a choice of taking the main highways to Puerto Vallarta or taking some backroads. It was about 300 km either way which does not sound like much but could make for a long day if the small roads are tough. We decided to take our chances and stick to the backroads, What a good decision it turned out to be! From Tequila we had to backtrack about 60-70 km along the roads we arrived on but there was next to no traffic and these narrow roads are pleasure to ride.
