12/19/07 Tenacatita We anchored at Tenacatita for a couple of days and enjoyed the famous, self-guided jungle river trip full of birds and other wildlife. The river ends (or becomes impassable from the mangroves) at a small inlet where you can park your dink and wander inland to the palapa restaurants that dot the bay across the road. We had a lovely seafood meal and lazy afternoon before heading back to the boat for the evening.
