We are glad to be back on the mainland! We awoke our first morning here to warm tropical weather, lots of green, lots of palm trees. We are glad to have thoroughly explored the Sea of Cortez, but our version of paradise has palm trees. We spent a few days visiting with friends we haven't seen since last year, and enjoying the nice beach at Punta Perula, north Chamela Bay. Apr 2, 2005 - Barra de Navidad to Tenacatita
We left Barra de Navidad as planned on April 2nd, for a quick motor sail over to Tenacatita. There were much fewer boats in the bay then when we were here just before Christmas. In December, there were around 30 boats anchored in the Bay. When we arrived this time, there were 9 or 10, and it reduced from there throughout the week we spent in the bay.
