Mar 24, 2006 - Day 30-35 - Punta Perula, Jal.

After a delightful week of replenishment I moved on heading south along the coast on Mexico Hwy. 200 to Punta Perula, still in the State of Jalisco. As I was coming down the mountains towards the coast, I had a minor accident. I brushed a curb along a curve with (I learned after examining the damage) my partially extended steps. There was a loud THUNK and a pretty solid hit. Upon examination when I finally got to a safe spot, the steps were bent towards the rear about 3-4 inches and had crunched the side-panel bodywork.
