Despite the name, we chanced a day stop. This spot turned out to be a picturesque anchorage that we thoroughly enjoyed. We went ashore for lunch and connected with other cruisers at the Giggling Marlin Beach Club, where Marachel was hoisted and we took advantage of the wind to fly kites.

Jan 25, 2008 - Los Frailes

We're getting better at understanding the weather here. Again to wait out the mid-day howling winds, we chose to anchor. The good thing about these winds are that the wind generator is making plenty of electricity... enough to even run the AC refigeration system for a couple hours. Although we didn't go ashore, we did catch sight of a couple of the baby manta rays jumping out of the water.
