Nov 7, 2006 - Bahia Santa Maria

As the photos show, Bahia Santa Maria is a beautiful pristine bay, fed by a mangrove estuary, 180 miles south of Turtle Bay. We explored the mangroves, bought shrimp from the local fishermen, and hiked the unusually vegetated peaks. Hannah and Abby even got private surf lessons from Richar, the rally Poo-Pah. We enjoyed a pot luck on the beach and a local pop band. It was hard to leave the perfect and protected bay for Cabo.
