In between our tours, we enjoyed walking on the beach. One day we saw a lot of Sea Hares on the beach. These look like big slugs with sails on the top. They were actually kind of pretty. When I accidently stepped on one, it shot out some very pretty purple ink, which it does when it gets upset. I felt kind of bad for it, but then I was wondering if that ink was ever used as a dye. Feb 19, 2019 - LaJolla Beach Camp

Today we drove to our next destination, La Jolla Beach Camp just south of Ensenada, in Puta Banda, Baja California, Mexico. We will be here for ten days. The campground is owned by the family Pabloff. They are a very generous family to the locals who are not so fortunate. There is also an ex-pat community here. Several have been here since the 1960’s when this place first opened. They all help the local community. Our Escapee Chapter that we came down here with is big on charity projects.
