May 2, 2011 - Back in the USA

We arrived at San Francisco airport in the afternoon of April 27. It was wierd to leave Singapore and arrive at SFO on the same day. We were suprisingly greeted at the airport by our families holding signs. We couldn't have asked for a better homecoming. After having an early dinner with our family, we said farewell and spent the night at a hotel near the airport, we weren't quite ready to end our bike bumble. The next morning we got up and put our bikes back together and headed over the Santa Cruz Mountains to Half Moon Bay State Park....

The cable car ride was cool, we headed over the sea to the island and took some good photos. The...

Jul 14, 2006 - Ending the trip with a Singapore Sling

After our posh bus journey, we arrived fresh and ready to go late afternoon. We booked into our plush accommodation (a backpackers hostel), got to our room only to find we're right on the busiest and noisiest intersection in Singapore (ok slight exageration there). We didn't really do much the rest of day except go out and buy some earplugs and then popped in for a delicious Indian curry (well we are staying in Little India so it would have been rude not to). Then it was back to the room to watch DVDs on our new laptop. The next morning we...
