Compared to the previous two days which had been glorious we woke up to grey skies and drizzle. Daisy was completely tired out from her long walk the day before so we left her in the coach and headed to the town of Diekirch to the Military Museum. The northern part of Luxemburg was part of the Ardennes area involved in the now famous Battle of the Bulge which took place between 16 December 1944 and 25 January 1945. Apr 8, 2007 - Spangdahlem, Germany

Carla here--We didn't do any more sightseeing while in Vogelweh. Lexi, Zac, and Wes all came down with a cold and fever so we decided to stay at the apartment a couple of days to give them a chance to recuperate. Today (Easter) we moved from Vogelweh to Spangdahlem (north west of Trier by about 30 minutes.) Here we have a NICE 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment (Temporary Living Facility)—its way bigger than what we are used to living in i.e. our fifth wheel.
