Hello family and friends, The next day we packed up our clean and freshly tuned and oiled bikes and hit the road, heading first to the Wat Phu and onward to Don Khong, the largest and northern most island in the area known as 4,000 Islands. The Wat Phu was spectacular. An ancient Khmer temple complex built in between the 9th and 11th centuries. Travelin' Light

Jun 29, 2007 - My Son - The Cham Holy land

One of the standard day trips from Hoi An. You leave at 08:00 and return at 13:00, or in our case - you leave at 08:30 and you get back at 15:30. Though there was an antque motorcycle rally going on (wrecks to a wrecked site) Mainly consisted of old Vespa scooters. My Son is the largest of the Cham Tower Sites. Nothing to compare to their contemporary (and major enemy) the Khmer constructions.
