After our little break at the Marsabit Lodge, we headed back to Laisamis for a final night at the camp. Thankfully, there were no hyenas chasing warthogs, but our security guard had built a protective barricade around our tent - just in case. On our final day in Laisamis, we walked around the town, mixing with the locals and taking some photos. LAISAMIS 1 After experiencing Nick's Lodge, it was time for us to head out with Juliet and see where her work took her. And what an experience it was. Juliet works for Lewa Conservancy and her current role takes her to the north of the country to train local scouts in how to observe and track local wildlife.
