Today was the toughest ride day to date, a day that really challenged the 'moderate' tag attached to the ride description in our notes. However, none of us would have missed it, as we were treated to the most spectacular mountain scenery in one of the great scenic areas in Japan. We were also challenged to attempt climbs that we thought were well beyond us, and in the main, achieved great results. We started the day with the traditional onsen and donned our yakuta for a lovely breakfast provided by our host. The weather reports warned us...
