Then take half the clothes and twice the money” SUSAN HELLER HONSHU – The BIG Island We arrived for our second day in Japan at AOMORI at the northern tip of HONSHU, the island that we know as being the location of TOKYO, HIROSHIMA, NAGASAKI, KYOTO, OSAKA, and KOBE, some of the more well-known Japanese cities. AOMORI is also a city of about 300,000 people. For the second day in a row, the weather was gorgeous - the tour guides tell us that this is very fortunate up here...
