Hey All, Just a quick one for now. I have made it to Lucca and am currently with all my friends, having met them in Firenze (Florence) a couple days ago. I left Grenoble and made it to Firenze in an epic, 24 hour, solo hitch, probably the most memorable day of my trip to date. Dec 12, 2007 - Art and FOOD in Florance

We arrived in Florance on the 10th . Florance is so beautiful, the cobbled streets are lined with beautiful villas and dotted with churchs and piazzas. We have spent alot of time in Florance just walking around the streets, looking at the Christmas lights, and yes, eating more Gelati!!!! Last night we had a really cool night, sitting on a merry-go-round, in front of Santa Croce Church drinking mulled wine and jager shots! It was so cool!!!! Oct 6, 2006 - Venizia - to Firenze - to Torreta di Siena

Dale update: Posting some more pictures from yesterday (we took a lot!)... We got up early for a last morning in Venizia prior to our morning departure via Train to Firenze (Florence). Plan was to take a run - then we remembered we'd have trouble getting back in the Hotel - so opted for Venizia Boot Camp in the room. After our workout, headed down to landing to check out the strike rumor - and found that it was true - they were closing the ticket booth at the San Zacarria as we walked up @ 7.15am.
