Sicily! We've wanted to get to this island for all of our traveling years. Too bad ours turned out to be the week with record hot temperatures—sort of took the edge off. We got to spend time in most of Sicily's major tourist attraction-sites, Taromina, Siracusa and Ortigia, Agrigento, Monreale, Palermo and Cefalú. Highlights of our visit have to include the last few miles of southern mainland Italy as we approached Reggio Calabria and our ferry-embarcation to Sicily.
