Today we woke relatively early (7:45am) to leave by 9am to go to Erice. Erice is an historical medieval city that is situated 15km from Trapani on the top of the luxuriant Monte Erice (751 metres high), from where you enjoy spectacular views of Trapani, Egadi Islands and Monte Cofano. It is a magnificent sight to see and reminds me very much of San Gimignano. I actually think that Erice is more beautiful.
