9-19-12 Palau, Sardinia We arrived and anchored in a harbor outside of Palau, Sardinia after a 125-mile venture. Spent all day on the boat, much of the time spent learning more about scuba diving. Tomorrow is our first dive. It is beautiful here, however quite windy. It is supposed to get up to 25 knots tonight but I have the night off of anchor watch so I’m going to utilize the time spent to catch up on sleep. I’ve found that days aboard the Argo are long. Jun 20, 2011 - Porto Rotundo, Sardinia

June 20, 2011 Porto Rotundo on the Island of Sardinia was easily the youngest town we would visit on this cruise. Started in 1965 by a wealthy Italian family, it caters to the rich and famous, with a feeling similar to our New Years visit to St. Barts in the Caribbean in 2006. A comparison I would make is to “Whistler on the water” as the design and layout of the town flows together with a consistent look and feel.
