Today I got myself together to go and visit the home and Museum of the Italian composer Puccini. He lives or used to live, in an outer suburb of Viareggio here in the locale of Lucca, Tuscany, Italy. Sep 14, 2007 - Cinque Terre, Liguria and Tuscania and other small villages in Lazio

We arrived in Cinque Terre on Sept 6th. Our reason for visiting this magnificent region of Italy, located on the north west coast, was its designation as a UNESCO National Park in 1997. Secondly, we wanted to hike the five beautiful villages perched on clifftops high above the sea. Monterosso, Vernazza, Croniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore are linked together by well-laid walking trails. No roads here, at least not for the general public.
