Today we took an 8 hour drive through Austria on our way to Italy. It was a long drive but very beautiful. The mountains and rivers that we saw were breath taking. The road was scattered with castles and watch towers. After the long drive we were glad to arrive at our farm house villa for some rest. That night we had our first Italian pizza, well kind of. Jun 20, 2009 - BLOG - Ciao, Bella!

Well, it’s been a while since I updated what we’ve been up to....a combination of lack of internet access & not being able to charge my laptop has held me back! I’ve got lots of catching up to do, but I’ll start with where we are now... We are now in Italy, camping on the shores of Lake Garda (yes - back to camping again, yeahh!) Italy is amazing, we both love it. Apr 30, 2008 - Gardaland

Gardaland Time to reward the kids again, so we (or rather I, Sue had a “headache”) took the kids to Gardaland, Italy’s largest theme park. Ruby is exactly 1m high at the moment. Kids under 1m get into Gardaland free, so we made her stoop a little at the entrance gate. Kids under 1m are not permitted on many of the rides so we made her ‘stand tall’ when we lined up for rides. The craziest ride we went on was a roller-coaster which does two full loops before doing a triple corkscrew. Freaky! We arrived at about mid day and the park...
