Jun 6, 2006 - Cinque Terre - Camogli

Monday 5 June and I am catching the train to Camogli, north of Moneglia, just north of Portofino and not strictly in the Cinque Terre, but part of the Italian (Ligurian) Riviera. It takes me about half an hour in the train buzzing past seaside towns and in and out of long tunnels through steep hills. The train stations are all old gracious buildings with small gardens, seats and some with statues ! And hardly any graffiti or litter. I disembark and wander down through the streets and steps, drawn towards the OCEAN ahhhhh..... been a few...
