Sunday 23rd September 2007 Weather:-sunny, 22 degrees (J) Barberino val D'elsa is where we are tonight. We had an early start out of Venice this morning; we left our little apartment at 8:15 and caught the near empty ferry (Sunday morning, everybody still asleep I guess) to the Roma bus station so that we could catch our bus to the Mondial car park where we left our car. All went well until we saw our bus stop as we were sailing past it, nothing for it but to get off at the next stop, 1 ½ kilometres further on. That was a nice bit of...

Apr 21, 2006 - We Were Under The Tuscan Sun Too... and Loving It

Written by Renee Today, we woke up and we saw the Davises again. We played around; then we said our goodbyes and left for Tuscany. The Davises left for another country... I think it was Slovenia or Croatia. We had a long drive. It was good but we had difficulty finding the villa we were staying in. We asked many people directions. Everyone was very helpful. We eventually found the villa. It was very neat place. The gates opened automatically. We had a large place. We slept in nice beds upstairs. Dad and mom slept in the bedroom downstairs....
