Mar 12, 2009 - Day 14 - Our Trip to the South, Part A
Day I Today we embarked on our journey to the South of Israel. We began our day with a hike through high mountains in the Negev Desert. The hike led us to a majestic view of the Negev. When we reached the top of the mountains we were stunned by the desert. From there we went to ride camels. They smelled :( . We left the camel ride and went to watch a movie about David Ben Gurion; Israel’s first Prime Minister. We walked to his gravesite. It overlooked a beautiful view of Tzin desert valley.
