*** We hope everyone on the East Coast and in the Northeast is recovering from the terrible storm. We didn't have the internet hooked up yet when it hit the U.S., but we managed to get bits and pieces of news about it. Hello from the Emerald Isle. Bit of a short entry today as the INet cafe closes in a few minutes. We spent three days in Dublin (mild battles with the jet lag) before journeying west and north. First stop was Sligo where we visited a couple megalithic sites: primarily burial sites. They were built between 6,000 BC and 2,500 BC. Carrowmore being the largest such in Europe. This morning we had another Maccas breakfast and continued our journey north. Our first stop was at The Glens of Antrim, which lie roughly east of an imaginary line drawn between Ballycastle and Ballymena. We arrived early with barely a sole in sight, and followed the path leading to the waterfalls. The walk was very pleasant and green, with many tall trees and plants surrounding us. We arrived in Ireland after only 4 hours sleep the night before... tired!!! We rented a car from the airport and after having to remember how to drive and then get someone to actually open the security gate for us we followed the GPS to the Giant's Causeway - somewhere in Northern Ireland... It was quite a view!! Although we had to walk through the rain to see it. Ireland is.... green!! (and cold!!) June 20, 2010 * Had an amazing weekend camping on Coney Island. I put up some new pictures. Our tent overlooked the beach and Karlee was an absolute star finding bits of wood to burn! Mostly old pieces of fences...There isnt exactly an abundance of trees on the Island. Silly Canadians. We just sat by the fire, had some drinks and talked and laughed into the wee hours. Next weekend is a big music festival and you camp the whole weekend, so we are so excited for that...

Monday Last night was great fun..we went to Dunguaire Castle on the banks of Kinvara Bay. Dinner was a Medieval Event with the King and Queen..which turned out to be us (the anniversary celebration continues). There was good food, wine, singing, poetry and a good time. Hello everyone!! Bitter sweet...But my journey finally has an end date. I got into PDP at Simon Fraser University and will be starting in September! Apr 15, 2010 - Meet Harley & Dexter: Our Burnese Mtn Pup Roomies!

We took a road trip 3 1/2 hours up North so Michael could pick up a Burmese Mountain puppy...which turned into TWO burnese mountain puppies!!!! (WHAT! He needed a buddy??? :) We are absolutely in love with them!! They are SO WELL DOCUMENTED! haha. First day at the beach, first car ride, and first bath tonight! We named them Harley and Dexter. Harley is full of energy and he is high maintenance which makes him really sweet and Karlee has fallen in love with him. Dexter is a little sleepy tub who can cuddle in any position...but he never wins...

April 13, 2010 The weather has been BEAUTIFUL!!! We have had BBQ's and sunshine galore! Spent tons of time at strand hill....gorgeous. Great local outdoor pub and this HUGE bay of a beach that is full of surfers and rolling hills of sand! Michael and I have also had a couple good rides on his bike -- I posted a few new pictures. March 27, 2010 Sad to be leaving London in a couple days -- I have grown so attached! Saw Les Miserables in theatre! Absolutely AMAZING. Cannot wait to go again. Walked around Hyde Park...Gorgeous. A night of dancing at Fabric -- multi level, multi rooms... What a blast! Bought out all of PRIMARK for cheap fashions. I am a walking floral print. Really. Mar 22, 2010 - IRELAND steals my heart <3

We are back from our Ireland trip and what a trip it was! From dancing around in matching green tutu's with shamrocks on them for St Paddy's day, to buying matching adult onesies for bedtime, to sitting by the fire and chatting, to meeting great people, to walking the BEAUTIFUL coastline, to taking seaweed baths -- I absolutely love Ireland.
