This morning dawned bright and sunny. A complete contrast to yesterday. We packed a picnic lunch and set off round the Ring of Dingle, guided by Rick Steves description of the route. Christine says we have to describe today as “Peaceful Irish Scenes”. As she feels it reflects the slow paced life we think of when we reflect on life in Ireland. We stopped first at Dunbeg - not to be confused with Drumbeg which we visited from Kinsale - a prehistoric fort built on a cliff, called by archeologists a “promontory fort”.
