It is around 9:30 in the evening, and I am in the dining area at Mama Roos Guesthouse in the tiny hamlet of Batuputih on the edge of the Tangkoko Nature Reserve. We stopped off at the Tangkoko Nature Reserve today en route to one of North Sulawesi’s top dive spots on an island called Lembeh.
