The most convenient way to visit Konark is by taxi (round trip from Puri for Rs 500). Dad left for Bhubaneshwar on a work related trip, so it was just Mom and I for this tour of Konark. We started at 9 am, after a Aaloo Paratha breakfast. The ghutka chain chewing driver (Kalu) deftly maneuvered the Indica through Puri traffic.
