Madikeri is where I currently reside. I actually didn't do any research about it before coming....and upon arrival I was shocked to see that it's a hill station not unlike Kalimpong and Darjeeling. Lots of rain, lots of hills, and rather chilly compared to the plains. It's strange because I feel so much more at home in the hills. I think I like hill people a lot more too because generally, the people who live in the hills are families and entrepreneurs....so there's hardly any beggars to bring down my mood.....and I know it sounds selfish,...
