Apr 18, 2016 - March 17, 2016

March 17, 2016 I am at my favourite chai walla at Baba Singh market. It’s the same market when I had the first seizure with the new brain tumor. I showed Cara the spot. All the shop keepers remembered me. Everyone was smiling. Everyone in Karol Bagh asks me how I am feeling. I have met everyone except Subash, Raju and Girish. Girish came by but I was too tried to see him. It’s about 6am Cara is still sleeping. We went to the dentist yesterday. I could barely deal with the pain. Her office was in her house. She did not want to lance the...

Apr 18, 2016 - March 18, 2016

March 18, 2016 I went back to the dentist yesterday. The puss pocket is finishing. I am still on anti-biotics to kill the rest of it. I still have a cavity that needs work. The dentist wanted to give me three root canals and a bunch of fillings and told me Brad Labreque’s was shit. I am not going back to her. I will have a dentist at Apollo do the work. We were up at 5.30 walking. It was still dark. We walked several blocks down Amal Khan Rd. There is a nice park there. We walked around it several times. When we got back Cara laid down. I...

Apr 18, 2016 - March 19, 2016

March 19, 2016 We left Karol Bagh to go to Apollo at about 11am. We spent about 45 minutes at the hospital. We returned to CP around 4.30-4.45 hours travel time. All was done via autorickshaw. The total cost without tips was 550 Rs. Can$11.00. Delhi is a big city. The traffic was hell. The hospital is on Mathura Road. The highway South to Mathura and then Agra and the Taj. I have been to Agra five times now and witnessed the vessel four times. On the fifth voyage I could not be bothered. Not that the Taj should not be viewed, admired and...

March 16, 2016 Back in Delhi – It feels very good to be home. It is only 2.30am. I thought it was much later 5.30am. I was going to go for my morning Kasarat (exercise). There are no chai wallas this early. There are only dogs a rickshaw pullers either sleeping on the ground or in there rickshaws. Cara is still in bed. And an old women sweeping in front of her house. A dog has come up to me. He is not one of the dogs I know. He was friendly enough. The abscess above my front tooth is very painful. I must get in lanced today. I love India...

March 21,2016 I have met almost everyone I know in Karol Bagh. There are some taxi walla’s who I don’t know by name that still say hi to me. I must cancel my MRI in Canada and my appointment with Dr. Tevendale. She is the doctor that checks me over. So I am fit enough for chemo. A lab to get my blood work done before I get my chemo. I went to Subash’s pharmacy today and spoke with his brother. He can order the Temolozide. I also ordered dialantin and some none medicinal stuff. I don’t start the chemo until April 3rd. I met a partner of...

Apr 18, 2016 - Adult language

I always gotta post this lest I appear to give a fuck. Adult Language Freud discovered that in every culture there are words which are considered taboo: words that are rarely spoken aloud, but, when they are, produce a dynamic and sometimes emotional and judgmental of the reader of the writer’s character. For those of you who don’t know me or have not known me for long, I use these words. Why? Because I am brutally honest…period…full stop. Honest in my feelings as I see it and as I feel it and as I write it. While not given a place in...

Dec 27, 2015 - Flight to Delhi via Abu Dhabi

12/27 Mari arrived to stay in our room the night before...the original room would have needed a roll away bed but David who checked us in was feeling very generous so he gave us a suite! Really a nice fellow cause he threw in free wifi as well. So we spent the eve and morning watching TV (we had 2 in our room!). Check out was noon which is exactly when we left, caught the shuttle to the airport, and checked our bags before settling in for what turned out to be a 3 hour wait since the plane left an hour late. The seats were quite cramped for...
