Day 338: July 4, 2005 Buenos Aires, El Salvador First off, I want to wish you all a Happy Fourth of July and a Happy Birthday to my Uncle Tom. Monday woke up with my alarm at 6:30 but laid in bed until seven. By seven thirty I was out the door and on my way to eat breakfast. Jan 14, 2004 - Look out Nicaragua

January 14, 2003 Nicaraguan Border. After a four hour drive straight up and then down missing huge potholes, we arrived to the border city La Mano and got ready for the unexpected. This was the first time anyone asked for dog papers and it was of course, Honduras, and they were asking Valere while we were in the line up. I proudly showed him the papers; he read it slow and long and then just walked away.
