Sep 16, 2017 - At anchor at the Northern edge of Parga, mainland Greece

I was greeted by Nelson this morning, as I went into the salon for breakfast. . Since I was having my latte and omlette, he was looking longingly at the galley for Marina to Bering him his saucer of milk. It was very hot, and sticky when we left the port of Preveza this morning, and re-wound our way between the red and green bouys to get back into the open ocean. Our travels along the West coast of mainland Greece took us about 3-1/2 hours before arriving at Parga. I am also giving you another map, so you can see where we are at closer...

May 14, 2015 - Day 5 - Ormos Fanari

Today we headed north for approx 20 miles to the bay of Fanari, just south of Parga. A secluded bay and we were the only boat there! Still early in the season. Beautiful clear water and we all went in for a dip. The Akheron River originates up the mountains and empties into the bay. With snow still being on the mountains, that water was cold. Very invigorating to say the least! We took the dinghy up the Akheron river and around the caves on the peninsula to explore. Jul 9, 2013 - Beachtime in NW Greece

Seaside Greece 26th June to 5th July I did say at the end of my last entry that we were intending to just enjoy the sun and company during our seaside time in Greece. That we have done in abundance. Sue had picked out a suitable site south of Igoumenitsa near the small town of Parga. Licknos is the name of the bay and of the campsite and it has been delightful – see the pictures.
