I'm up, but semi-struggling and it's near 830am. I was told when I chatted with the hotel folks that I would get a ride to the bus stop in Karterados around 9am. That was my motivation. Get up, Get Out and Get moving. If I can't check in, at least I can drop them off and vamoose. No time wasting, straight to trekking or whatever may be on tap at that point in time. SANTORINI: 2 ½ hr Ferry from Crete to Santorini. It was a roller coaster ride on the FastCat!! People were being sick all over the place. One poor fellow took the men’s bathroom hostage for most of the ride. Just hearing people being sick almost made you want to throw up too….join the crowd! However, we all held it together!!! Oia was almost completely destroyed during the devastating earthquake that struck the island in 1956, killing scores of peoples and leveling most of the buildings.
