Day 11 – Freitag to Frankfurt We had the luxury this morning of sleeping in until 7:15 am, so we were well-rested for a change when we woke up. ... The young men working there were very friendly, and Doug bought a few things, including some nosing glasses for only 3€ each (and they were engraved with “Isle of Arran”)! Back to the bus, along the cobbled stones, and we were on our home stretch to Frankfurt. ... We went to the same square, Paulplatz, as we were at on our first night in Frankfurt, and walked a short distance to our restaurant for our farewell dinner. ... Day 2 – Frankfurt Before we knew it, a continental breakfast was coming around, and we could see the sun rising out the window (hmmm, didn’t it just set a few hours before?) The flight was 7 ½ hours long, but it went by quickly. ... At Frankfurt Airport, we landed at 7:00 am as scheduled, and came to Terminal 1, which is huge, with three levels, a shopping concourse, restaurants, etc. ... We noticed that grass was green and the leaves were fully out while approaching Frankfurt, so this is certainly better weather than we left at home! Eventually, it was time to board our coach. ... I flew from Boston to Frankfurt, Germany (7+ hours) and then from Frankfurt to Delha, India (7+ hours) in business class on Lufthansa These were my first ever flights on Lufthansa. ...
