Jul 21, 2011 - At the School
Had a call from Amelia while at the school this morning. The had been asked to move into a room next door to the classroom they were assigned to since there were not enough seats in the language class. Amelia sounded in good spirits. It was a brief chat, just long enough to say she would not be calling tonight but would try to call from the next hotel. She said the room she was in looked like "Nickelodeon" and smelled like cheese. We'll have to see how the rest of her school day went.

Jul 20, 2011 - Freiburg - Homestay
Freiburg - Lying in a secluded wine-rich corner of Baden-Württemberg state in Germany, Freiburg is a laid-back, beautiful university city. Known throughout Germany for Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, good weather, and vineyards, Freiburg is considered by Germans to be a desirable place to live. Jul 19, 2011 - On to Germany
It was on to Germany to the cities of Koblenz and Lenzkirch. In Freiburg the delegation worked on an environmental project. I don't have nay details on that yet. Later they went on to meet with the home stay families. As it turns out they will be going to school with the children of the home stay families.
