Woke up this morning feeling, very, very ordinary. I don't know what this cold is going to do, but it's take its time to build up and do anything. I feel like I've been hit by a truck, tired and my head is disorientated. Having said all that though, we've slept in a bit and it's time to get moving. I went to go get the car, as Ali's foot was still swollen, and bring it back to the hotel. May 8, 2008 - Last day in the Black Forest

Sorry to have been such slackers the past couple of days, we been busy, busy, busy! Tuesday we met my friend Jim in a town called Staufen. He took us for a tour of the town, it was nice to have someone along who could read the signs! He also took us to the home/shop of a family of woodcarvers, pretty neat. Yesterday we went to the Farmers Market in Freiburg. It was a lot of fun. We also walked around some other parts of town. It has a nice old shopping district. Today we are off to Colmar in France. May 6, 2008 - Tuesday in Hinterzarten

It's another beautiful morning here. Terry, Tracy and I walked downtown - about 20 minutes - for coffee and hot chocolate. Terry got a roll and loaf of bread as well. Sue was having a leisurely breakfast at the condo when we left. We had a fun day yesterday in the nearby town of Titisee. We are tentatively planning to meet up with my friend Jim Budlong who I worked with at Nike for many years. He has lived about 30 miles from here for the last 3 or 4 years. May 5, 2008 - Out and about in Hinterzarten

As soon as we all finished interneting we are off for a driving tour of the area, one stop to be Titisee which is about 5K -I think Terry is going to run over there while we drive - just kidding! We are very glad to finally have her aboard. We will be telling you all about her adventure yesterday in a later update!
