Jan 22, 2008 - Moorea, French Polynesia

After a short sail over to Moorea, we anchored in Opunho Bay near the town of Papetoai this morning. Moorea is absolutely stunning! Anyone considering a visit to the South Pacific should not miss this amazing island! The scenery, the people, the activities, and the hotels are world class and worth every bit of the effort necessary to journey this far ;) Obviously, I'm very pleased with this port of call and hope that my photos can do it justice. Despite a heavy rainstorm throughout the evening, the sky was clearing as we arrived in Moorea...
