Its a wonder we can cycle anywhere after our bread stick-croissant laden breakfasts! Today we managed to follow the directions perfectly. Over 85% of farming land in this area is devoted to rice growing and this lined the roads constantly until we cycled into the Camargue National Park. This is in reality a massive wetland, with lagoons of 65000 square ha. Birdlife abounds-hundreds of beautiful flamingoes, swans and ducks ets. It is also meant to be the habitat of the wild black bulls and the sturdy white Camargue horses, but we didnt see...
