Gidday, We scored a lovely day today, after an early heavy fog, made better by the fact we did not have to get up and pack. It was initially an organizing morning booking the TGV tickets for our train trip back to Paris on Monday. True to what we have read, getting the bikes back complete is not so easy to Paris on the TGV, so will have to bag them up. Thankfully Marg has booked the digs close to the TGV stn, which is different to the TER stn (which we came in on) only the French would have two separate train systems in the same town!!!...

Buts Mer de Mer 2012

May 13, 2008 - Onwards to Orange

We had a very leisurely start out of Vezenobres. After breakfast B & I rode up into the old town above us to have a look-see at what we had been viewing from our room, then got back down on the road to take us toward Orange - our next stop. It was a lovely ride from Vezenobres to Orange - about 80kms. Beautiful countryside. Lovely little old towns and villages. Beaucoup de vineyards. Had a wonderful lunch in St. Quentin-la-Poterie (bet they don't eat like we did at the 'other' St. Quentin!) with some of the other riders, then they left town...
