Day 3 Dauphin to Malaucene A peal of thunder woke me at 2:00am and shortly after the gentle patter of rain was heard falling on the tent. I dozed off and on for the next few hours as the rain firstly increased and then eased. By 5:00am it had stopped altogether although drops still fell on the tent from the surrounding trees. We had another early start because the weather report had predicted 34 degrees as we climbed Mont Ventoux. It's really good how the whole team chips in to break camp and pack the vehicles to ensure a timely start. This...
