We left late morning intending to avoid motorways and tolls again, but after giving ourselves a headache negotiating our way through Rouen and losing a half hour or more driving in a circle, we completed the remaining part of the trip to Licques via motorways (and two tolls totalling €14.70). Pommiers des Trois Pays (E1°56'52" N50°46'47") is a nice campsite just a short walk from the village. €16 per night, plus additional charges of €1.60, for 16amp electricity, free WiFi on the pitch and good bathroom facilities. Mar 30, 2011 - Getting Ready for The Return

We are now in a campsite in the village of Licques, just south of Calais. Before coming back to Blighty, we need to get Doug checked over by a vet, and he has to have that done between 24 and 48 hours before the crossing, so there's a certain amount of waiting around. However, the site is very nice and is the one we stayed in before, when we came back to the UK last July.
