Sep 28, 2017 - We are done! Last mooring.

Thurs. 9/28/17 4 locks, 14 km. Overcast until about 11 am. Best lunch yet; Joe & Doris shared a gigantic hamburger, Rand & Kathy had squid and salad (see pics if wifi is working). Also a perfect mooring, wait for video after we are home. We checked in to final mooring a day early, tomorrow we walk to Mediterranean beach.

Wed. 9/27/17 8 locks, 8 km. Brilliant blue sky all day. Moored in port of Bizieres, on free (south) side of canal opposite €20 per night side, old and new city to North. Walked up to 11th century church, site of 20,000 massacred Carthers in 1209, all in the name of God, according to Pope. That was the origin of quote, "Kill them all, God will know his own." Another fantastic meal on boat.
