We left the Loire Valley this morning heading south and arrived at our next destination just after lunch time . We are at another well preserved and very busy village from the 8th century. On some of the front doors are small walnut branches - we have learnt that these are placed there on St. Jean's day (June 24th). It's a tradition from the middle-ages and refers to the cure of walnuts which the people in Uzerche used to fight the epidemic plagues.
