We arrived in Vernet on Tuesday night and by now I should have stories, photos and videos galore to share. But I don’t. As justification I can say this was always meant to be our R&R portion of the summer, a place to sit still to reflect, recharge, rest and all that good stuff. Jul 19, 2011 - Goodbye England: Hello France

We left the story with our return to Datchet (home of the Edge’s) and dog sitting Saturday night for Scooby (who sadly is blind and doesn’t respond well to a change of minders). Carole and Paul were most appreciative as they got the night off to attend an open-air concert with friends Bob and Karen and had a grand time.
