May 15, 2009 - to Serignan

When we woke this morning it was still raining lightly. I opened our 1st floor window and discovered what had been a fairly dull main street had turned into a lively market. After packing our bags into the car we went for a walk. The markets extended the whole of the main street (now closed to traffic) and also down a side street. They had everything from meat, cooked chickens, bakeries, clothes, shoes, cosmetics and just about everything else. We stopped at a cafe to see if we could get some breaky, but they only sold coffee.
