Apr 22, 2006 - The hills are no more

So I've left the Massif behind for good and now entered the Langedoc and more pecifically Nimes. The scenery is far from beautiful but it's nice to be in a city and to be anonamous once again. I almost felt like a celebrity when I rolled in to some towns on my travels up to now. Time to find some food. There's np photos of note for today. I could smell the sea but have yet to see it. Bon nuit.

Wheels of Fire

Aug 31, 2004 - Beaujolais - French Riveria - Day 9

We left the chateau and stopped at Avignon which was a really neat stop. There were little markets on the side of the roads and interesting people to watch. Stolling through these towns is really neat. We then carried onto the French Riveria where we were staying at Antibes. Looks like a bit of a hole with rubbish everywhere but close to the beaches and Monocco etc After dinner we headed for Monocco. We stopped on a hill top which looked over a harbour and nice. Our tour manager and driver got a box of champagne for all of us, very nice...
