Aug 28, 2010 - Chalabre à Gruisson (Windsurfing!)

We had quick breakfast and packed up in Chalabre and then took off for Carcassonne. We love playing the board game named for the town, so we had to visit the historic city that has been inhabited since 3500BC. The “modern” part of the city across the river with the rectangular street grid dates back to 1200AD. The old fortified part is … well, older – built from 100BC to 1100AD.
