Apr 23, 2005 - Matkalla / On the way

(Alla suomeksi) Sini and Teemu came from Joensuu to Kuopio. Sanna and Panu kindly shared their homes. There were still a lot of packing to do and the night was late until it was time to get some sleep. Early next morning Panu and Teemu struggled with the baggage - two men jumping on the lid of the suitcase but it did not close. It was time to take another bag for Panu. My first trip to Euro Disney and journey on the Euro Star. We stayed in a hotel that was a short shuttle ride from the park. We arrived in Paris at 9am Sunday morning. My plan had been to spend the day in Paris and go the the Musee d'Orsay and see Fahrenheit 9/11. Unfortunately, I wanted nothing more than to be on the train to London. I grabbed my bad and hightailed it to another train station to buy my tickets for the Eurostar to London. Paris is just gonna have to wait until I get over my aversion to all things French. The Eurostar was pretty cool. I know it's just another train...and god knows how many trains I've been on in Europe, but going under the...
