We breakfasted earlier this morning and by ourselves. Annie offered us visit options which we planned around and departed the B&B at 1000hrs. Our first leg was a 23km drive north to Locronan, a classic 17/18th century town built from local granite. This early Celtic town has a 2000 year old history and has retained the majority of its buildings in their original style. Jun 21, 2015 - Quimper - Day 28

We awoke to the quiet of a still country morning at 0730hrs; not a sound could be heard. We dressed and were at the breakfast table by 0930hrs where we met a lovely young Austrian couple returning to the hotel after one year of marriage, having honeymooned here. We had a pleasant discussion before they left to return to Innsbruck. Following breakfast our host, Annie gave us an itinerary for the day which we gratefully accepted. 45th Weddings Anniversary today. We rose early to make the most of the opportunity of the late 1200hrs checkout from our hotel I initially walked the granite track for photo's while Kaye dressed. After, when Kaye had dressed, we stopped briefly in the main shopping area of Ploumanac'h for coffee and pastries before walking the same route we took yesterday photographing the rocks.
