May 8, 2011 - Our last day in the countryside

Our last day in Cancale started with a couples massage at the spa, followed by a facial for Sarah. Blissful! The weather was on and off raining, and by the time we were ready to get rolling, the rain had stopped. We made our way towards the beach and did a short hike and then...picked up our mille feuille!! May 7, 2011 - Coffee and crepes

Today has been blissfully relaxing. We went to bed fairly early last night, exhausted from gorging ourselves with seafood. Not before a big thunderstorm though - incredible lightening! We slept in and had breakfast at the hotel. It was pouring rain so we decided to go back to the room and read our books and wait the rain out. The rain didn't appear to be going anywhere quick, so we ended up ordering coffee up to our room. Neither of us minded having a lazy Saturday morning. May 6, 2011 - Oysters and prawns and lagostines, oh my!!

We left MSM via train and arrived in Cancale via bus with no problems this morning (hereinafter referred to as "Paradise"). Paradise is a fishing village located on the northern Atlantic coast of France in Brittany, and we wanted to come here for the fruits de mer a.k.a seafood, especially the oyster farms. This was another locale we discovered courtesy of Anthony Bourdain. Our hotel is fantastic: eco-friendly and has a spa (yahoo!) and much more inviting than Mont St Michel.
