We discovered that the local area was marketed as the "Medieval Valley" and there was a touring map to see the many churches/abbeys/castles etc. We quite happily followed along and on the first day stumbled on this market in the town of Dropt. We had a great time absorbing the sights and smells and stocked up for the week ahead. We then went to lunch at a little restaurant just out of town run by an English couple,but with a French chef. Foie gras! Apparently the locals come from all around to eat just for this. Spent the afternoon happily...
