Aug 5, 2008 - Goodbye NZ, hello Fiji!

We weren't sure what to expect from Fiji, but as we walked through the airport seeing the big smiles from the locals and hearing their lovely welcome 'Bula', we couldn't help but think 'we're going to enjoy this!'.We weren't sure what to expect from Fiji, but as we walked through the airport seeing the big smiles from the locals and hearing their lovely welcome 'Bula', we couldn't help but think 'we're going to enjoy this!'....

Now I’m back in Nadi (found a cheaper internet place) currently willing the sun to show itself again. ... Tomorrow I’m off to the smaller island of Vanua Levu to take part in the tribewanted project for a week.Last day and we were delighted to find that we had been treated to a lie in. Hey Everyone, I hope you are all having a fairly hassle-free holiday season so far. On the morning of December 6th, the day before we were supposed to go back to Nadi to catch our flights, there was a knock on our door. ... When we got back to the original hostel we had stayed at in Nadi, I was reunited with my cell phone, which had been stolen before we left the first week for our island hopping tour. ... I had been slightly stressed about it because ALL of the contact info for everyone I have met throughout my travels was in that phone, and there was still plenty of credit on it, but I was mostly choked about the people I wouldn't be able to keep in touch with.Hey Everyone, I hope you are all having a fairly hassle-free holiday season so far.
